How Many Boxes To Move A Two Bedroom Apartment?

When moving out, you need to consider plenty of variables to ensure less stress and successful packing up. Both the quantity and size of the boxes will depend on the number of belongings you need to wrap up and pack for your move. Packing is considered to be the most arduous, time-consuming task when moving out of an apartment or home. This is where you will experience being puzzled about how you are going to pack fragile items or how you will pack your clothes the best way. Besides, you also need to determine how many boxes you will need to move your home or apartment. If you are planning to move to a two-bedroom apartment, the following guidelines will help you identify how many boxes you will need. Factors Affecting How Many Boxes Necessary to Move First, you need to consider how many people are living in your apartment. For example, you are living in an apartment with 2 to 3 people, so expect that you have more belongings than a family living in a two-bedroom apartment. Next is the length of time you lived in the apartment, where the longer you stayed in that apartment, the more belongings you may have. Then, you also need to determine the square foot of your apartment. Typically, a larger apartment has more items. Take note that some people have rooms with overflowing clothing, decor, and other miscellaneous items. Others may only have a few necessities, and this factor can affect the number of required moving boxes. What Is the Approximate Total of Needed Boxes So, a family of 2 to 3 people with an average amount of belongings will need:

  • 20 x medium-sized boxes
  • 10 or 12 x large-sized boxes
  • 5 or 10 x extra-large-sized boxes

Meanwhile, the total number of necessary moving boxes is between 35 to 50 boxes, which will include the smaller wardrobe boxes if you pack clothing on the hangers into the boxes. However, it is your choice whether you will use the smaller boxes. Keep in mind that the more you load items into big boxes, the heavier they will become, and it becomes more difficult for you to lift and transport your belongings. You need to keep your items organized and segregated to make your unpacking more efficient. Further, you may need some specialty boxes for items with odd or irregular shapes. Consider a TV Box or Kitchen Boxes for Fine China. uBoxes 1- and 2-Bedroom Kits Do you need stress-free, affordable, and efficient packing and moving solutions, the Uboxes 1- and 2-bedroom kits are perfect for you. I never thought about how I could have more belongings than a family living in a two-bedroom apartment. My biggest worry is that my friends and I won't have a place to live after the Summer. Maybe we can find a cheap two-bedroom apartment and just throw out some of our old belongings.
